We had high expectations based on prior reviews, but the spacious, elegantly appointed, and immaculate room exceeded those expectations. We also dined in the more casual (but still very upscale) restaurant in the bar, and the food was exquisite. Excellent location as well. more

The Raphael is a very good hotel, but it is not great. Many of the rooms are suites, and they are big. BUT, only if you want to feel like you're staying in an office. I was amazed at the level of service. One just doesn't see it anymore especially in American hotels. Every member of the staff was spot on. The hotel has just been redone with attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful. more
