I booked this place through a service that is supposed to find good deals. We were in KC for a concert, and we checked in before the show. It took about 30 minutes to get our room key. I don't think they were used to having real customers.
This place is broken down, dirty, and not safe. The "security doors" were cracked, broken, and did not latch. We went to our terrible smelling room, used the bathroom and left. After the concert we decided not to go back and instead drove 3.5 hours home (even though we had paid for the room).
The funny thing is, I paid $66 through the website that was supposed to get me a great deal. Some friends of ours got rooms, and paid only $50. Also, the service I used had given this place two stars. I'll never understand how that happened.
