I reserved two rooms for two nights, prepaid deal so would have been charged for one night had we left upon arrival and seeing the condition of everything, which is the only reason we stayed, being on a limited budget for vacation to St. Louis attractions with my son, his wife and my grandchildren. First, the pool was closed upon... more

I have five kids, and this hotel was great for our family. The pool was great, and my kids enjoyed the video game area. Our room was reasonably priced, and was very clean. The staff at the front desk was friendly, and gave us good recommendations regarding local attractions. We would definetely stay at the Quality Inn again! more

After our soccer team stayed at this hotel for a Labor Day Soccer Tournament--everyone that swam in the pool got severly sick! We're talking emergency room visits for half of these people! All nine who swam-- including 5 soccer players were diagnosed with a parasite called Cryptosporidium --contracted through the filthy pool water. This is very serious folks. The health... more

I was taking my kids to St. Louis to visit the zoo, Arch and a few other attractions but did not want to stay in the city. This was the perfect location. It was just short highway trips to everything. The hotel was perfect for family travel. After a long hot day at the zoo the pool was a great... more

Stayed here en route to Chicago - wanted to give St. Louis the once over. No expectations as such about the hotel - have been travelling for 3 weeks now and have to be realistic about what you'll get for the price. All in all the hotel was OK, we stayed only 2 nights before we left for Chicago so... more

Stayed at this hotel as part of a party that was being given. It is rather old and run down inside. The inside definitely needs a paint job, as it is faded and peeling in places. Rooms are located around the pool/game area, and some go town a dimly lit hallway. There is a nice central area, that has a... more

The pool and the gameroom were great! The kids were occupied and safe. The glass ceiling dome allowed the sun in. There were a couple of families that had multiple kids there for slumber parties. I would not recommend this hotel for "hotel snobs". But if you can look past the late 60's early 70's wallpaper, it was clean and... more

Where do you start with a laundry list of problems like I experienced with this hotel. Upon entering the lobby area was run down with old, dated furniture and tattered carpeting. The front desk attendant was surly and standoffish. This is the BEST part of my visit. After being assigned a room i walked down a dark, dingy hallway with... more

This hotel was disgusting. We stayed at this hotel for a New Year's Eve party (which was awesome) and if not for that reason, I would have checked out immediately. The room we had was gross, the carpet inside the door was crunchy when you walked on it, the light switch inside the door wasn't connected to anything, the wallpaper... more

This hotel was an experience, especially considering I stayed in hostels in Europe when I was in college, which are not always the cleanest. I would gladly go back to those hostels after staying at the Westport Park Hotel. I just read some other reviews and some things are definitely true--always wear shoes (my feet were black from the carpet),... more
