I have stayed at this hotel 5-6 times over the past three years. More than once I have had slow service on check-in. Arrival is usually 5-7pm and there is only one front desk staff person working. Every once in a while, it is certainly understandable, but this makes a bad first impression. The hotel is still doing some remodeling.... more

Stayed in Poplar Bluff again for business and this is one of the best HI I have stayed in a long time, especially after staying at another horible HI in Memphis. would highly recomend this hotel. more

The hotel appears to be the largest in town and caters to many local functions. The drab brown decor is obviously meant to camouflage dirt as it certainly isn't attractive. This is a very nice looking hotel and we were pleased with the room. The pool area needs work and is somewhat small for the hotel size. I stayed here when I attended a conference, and I have to say it is one of the nicest hotels in which I've ever been a guest. The rooms are just lovely and very roomy, the staff is very pleasant and the accomodations, such as meeting rooms were extremely nice. The adjoining Pasta House also does a really good job... more
