Spent two nights w/ my wife in the Lavender room with us being the only guests in the house! We had an awesome time roaming the mansion and seeing what we could stir up! Excellent staff, and excellent food!! Can't wait to stay at the mansion again!!!! more

Lemp Mansion Sucks. The only think it has going for it is architectural. If you are interested in its haunted history you can go walk through the museum for free but don't spend any money at this place. The staff is rude and condescending. They clearly do not care to have children there. I arrived on wed. night for the... more

Me and my husband stayed at the Lemp Mansion for my birthday. We had been to the mansion for dinner two other times, but this was the first time we stayed the night. The mansion has a ghost hunting team do ghost hunting tours on Thursday nights, which we did and it was very cool, and if you did the... more

I have stayed here many times, it is a wonderful bed and breakfast., and normally we get a group together and rent out all of the rooms in the mansion. Which is neat since all the employees leave you there over night alone! We stayed in the Elsa Suite, which is a small room (still bigger than mine at home)... more

Four of us planned a three night stay at the mansion for our yearly get together. It seemed pricey at first but thought it sounded like fun. We stayed in the"attic" suites and kept the pocket door dividing the rooms open. In one of the suites the jetted tub didn't work -we were told we just didn't know how to... more

My wife and I stayed at the Lemp Mansion's Lavender Suite for my 29th birthday. She had planned a nice romantic getaway. When we got to the room I was shocked that the room didn't have cable television, but only 7 local channels which all had a lot of static. We reported the issue to the manager who brushed us... more

We investigate haunted locales and took the opportunity to do just that when we took a trip to Webster University. The Lemp Mansion lived up to it's reputation of being one of Time Magazines' Top Ten haunted houses. Our investigation is on line so drop me an e-mail and I'll forward the link if you're interested. The Pointer family has... more

This is a beautiful old home with lots of haunted history. The house itself is well kept , the bedrooms are large , the bathrooms are nice with jetted tubs , the place was even cleaned well. The people who own the place all work there , and there love of the home and its history shows. At around midnight... more

I'm from St. Louis originally and I have grown up with this hotel. It's an old property is a dicey area of town. All that aside, it's cool as all get out. The rooms/suites are large and open and haunted (!?). There is an area downstairs to have a catered event, as we did for my sister's wedding shower. It's... more

I love history. I really did like the Lemp Mansion. Very interesting back story, very interesting rooms, good food, wonderful antiques and artifacts, etc. The only thing I could say bad about it was that the bathrooms weren't very clean. The shower had hair all over the curtain and it needed vaccuuming, but the place had people walking through it... more
