This is a very different hotel. It is located in the old union train station. So when you enter up the front stairs you find yourself in a huge arched vaulted room. We were on the Regency Club floor. The evening snacks were pretty minimal and drinks were a little hard to come by. As Regency Clubs go I would... more

As others have said about this hotel, the lobby in the restored Union Station offers gran views of the interior of this historic site. Its simply magnificent inside! However, once you leave the lobby to get to your room, things hit a bit of a snag. PROS: - Most of the staff was friendly enough. The concierge, valets, and doormen... more

I booked our room through Hyatt directly and was quoted $20.00 less than what the actual hotel charged me. No big deal.. thought that it would get straightened out but when I spoke to the front desk they said I had to take it up with Hyatt directly .. so I did, they informed me I was quoted incorrectly and... more

We got a great deal on this hotel on hotwire. It was $79 for the one night my husband and I stayed. Check-in went smoothly and there is a computer in the lobby that you can use to check e-mail or attractions in the area. The room was nice and the hotel gym was very good! Typically hotel gyms have... more

I just returned from our short St. Louis getaway. We stayed at the Hyatt. Hotel is in Union Station, which has been beautifully restored. Pro's: The lobby is breathtaking. Don't miss the Whispering Arch. Location is decent. Union Station had some cute tourist-y shops. Close to Metrolink. Pool area looked nice, but we didn't get to take advantage of it.... more

This was a happy surpise to get through Hotwire for $99 a night! The hotel is beautiful. The lobby building is an attraction in itself. There is so much history in why it was restored--we didn't see they offer tours until we were leaving. If you have any interest in trains or local history, I would definitely find out more.... more

We stayed at the Hyatt 6/13-6/15 and were very pleased with the experience. We parked across the street, at $14 per night, but it's a short walk through the mall to the front desk. We walked to Busch Stadium, about 10 blocks, and felt completely safe even though it was an evening game. The Arch was several blocks farther, so... more

I stayed at the Hyatt Union Station 3 days recently for a business meeting. I do not know what the room rate was, as it was booked and paid for by the business organization. However, there were a lot of extra fees beyond the room that others have mentioned - namely the parking and internet access. The internet access wasn't... more

This hotel is a great place to stay. In the downtown area of STL, it is about 25 mins from the airport. The lobby used to be the main terminal of the train station. It is enormous, and very ornate. They have truly gone to a lot of trouble to fix it up and make it look like it used... more
