The motel is close to the airport and car rentals. There were several restaurant options within walking distance. Finally, the staff were very helpful. For the price, this Travelodge is a great deal! more

Less than five minutes from the airport and from most rental car pickups, Travel Lodge Saint Louis has an ideal location for travelers on the go and at around sixty dollars the price is far less than one would expect to pay for an airport location The woman-owner handling the desk is very friendly and helpful. There's a Steak and... more

I'm a Chief of Police and I recently needed lodging in Saint Louis due to a family member being hospitalized. My wife and I located the St. Louis Travel Lodge by driving past several others that we felt were not right for our needs. We were greeted politely by the desk clerk and shown a room when asked to view... more

Great Value and very clean. I have had my share of hotel rooms and this one is great value and location for air travellers. Free breakfast was sparce but doughnuts were OK. Room had refrigerator and Microwave. Its a short walk to Wafflehouse which pays for itself with the room savings. The owners and workers are super nice. I would... more

This was a last minute stay - booked at 11:00 PM on Travelocity for $75. I always Priceline but it was too late. I was surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel. We walked in, were immediately greeted, given our room key with directions. The room was a basic double bed. As mentioned, it was very clean. The beds were... more

We showed up after many hours on the road to stand in the lobby for over 15 minutes with no desk person in sight to check us in. I called the hotel phone thinking maybe they might come to answer the phone but it went ignored as well. We finally asked a housekeeping staff member to go find someone so... more

Travelodge likes to use the term "bear bites breakfast". At this hotel, that equates to 2 boxes of donuts and juice. I looked at another Travelodge hotel and their "bear bites breakfast" consisted of waffles, fruit, oatmeal, juice, etc. So, if you like a descent breakfast, don't expect much here. Also, the bed wasn't that comfortable - I've had much... more

Good place for resting up before the hectic STL Airport. The "Continental breakfast" is coffee with day-old [or whatever] donuts. There's a Waffle House nearby, a couple fast food places and gas stations -- for rental car fillup. more

I just stayed at the Travelodge St. Louis for 1 night in June 2007. I arrived in St. Louis earlier than expected so I happened upon the Travelodge by accident. It's right off of the freeway and surrounded by tons of restaurants and gas stations. Parking is free and plentiful, and the area is safe. The woman behind the desk... more
