The hotel is in the old motor-court style, where you park right outside your door. The rooms have been redecorated and refurbished recently and they are clean, comfortable and stylish. Was in an older part of town. It is right on Route #66. Some neat history and photos. Rooms were clean, but I'm a smoker, and the rooms stunk to high heaven. (Pretty bad, when a smoker complains.) Close to interstate and some restaurants and stores, but not so high marks for cleanliness. I stayed with my two daughters (21 & 12)--and we didn't need to find prophylactics in the drawer of the dresser. Seemed like a shady neighborhood. Won't stay here next time. more

My wife and I found our stay here very enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman working the desk when we checked in (late) was very helpful and accomodating. There was a breakfast included and free internet access in the lobby. We enjoyed the Route 66 decor and would definitely stay here again. more

This was a very pleasant experiment. I stay in Springfield a few times a year on long road trips and generally just put up at one of the places on the hotel strip.
