We needed a room and most were booked due to Fort Wood's graduations. We lucked out with Comfort Hearth Inn & Suites (FORMERLY Knights Inn) - and got a a good price, too.

Well, we get there and the room reservation had been canceled by One Travel Dot Com - for no reason given. (They have still yet to get back to me) The new franchise owner could not have been nicer. He gave us the room at the same rate and went out of his way to get us proof that our credit card had not been charged for the canceled reservation.

The room was a very nice surprise. Spacious and very, VERY clean with a comfortable bed and good ac. We were very pleased with the value here, and if we're in the area again (though I'm not sure why we would be) we would not hesitate to make this our night's stay.

Again, this place has changed hands, and the new owners are very proud of their property. It is well taken care of, clean, odor-free and in a great location. So ignore the earlier... more
