Lodging: We originally booked the Summit but they moved us to the Shoshone. While not happy at first, we were convinced that the one bedroom condominium would be better than the one hotel room with two double beds at the Summit (same price). We are lucky it worked out that way. There was a ton of storage space - closets,... More

Stayed on 2nd floor, 1 bedroom condo; room 1919. Our room over looked the front hotel entrance, so not a great view, but that did not bother us. There was very little traffic/noise in the hall ways or rooms above us. The room was Very clean, plenty of room; toiletries provided in both baths(2). Full kitchen. I didn't look to... More

This was our first visit to Big Sky and the skiing, condo and staff all exceeded our expectations. Thanks to TripAdvisor, we asked for a one-bedroom corner unit which was spacious, clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated in Native American patterns and colors. Our corner unit (#1939 on the 4th floor, I think) was the perfect size for our family of three.... More

We have visited Big Sky and the resort for the last 8-10 years. We have loved Big Sky from summer to fall and well into winter. Global warming is hitting everywhere and for the most part skiing @ Big Sky is better than most Colorado places. My family includes 2 adults and 2 tweens. We always book way early before... More

from my humble perspective an awesome condo hotel location. recently renovated. I travel constantly and # 1968 my corner unit was a refreshing change from the norm. perfect for families, skiers and those who love mountain resorts. In the valley the temperature rises well up in the high nineties in August - here at 7,500 feet the temperature is at... More

Made the long trip from England to experience Montana for first time. Stayed in corner room 1968, a 1 bed condo on 6th floor. Very good sized rooms. Could fit the 3 bedrooms from a recent French self catering holiday into the 1 bedroom! Some of the fittings aren't the most modern but everything worked. A bit strange not to... More

Went on an annual ski trip with my dad. Stayed here in February 2012 in Room #1960. Took another review's advice and asked for a corner room, which is a little bit bigger (confirmed by the front desk staff), but wasn't available. Still the room was a good size. Deal included lift tickets and breakfast each morning, which is served... More

We stayed 5 nights in a 1 BR condo at Shoshone in the beginning of February. First time at Big Sky. Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. Very skier friendly. Short walk over to the lifts. Ski storage on ground level, so when you leave the building so walk up a slight incline to the base. Condo was spacious, includes a... More

We just got back from a week at big sky. Our family stayed at the shoshone condominium resort, and we have a 7,5 and 2 yr old. We had a corner 1 bdr unit with a full kitchen. I had read all the reviews and was curious about the different opinions. To start out you have to check in at... More

We rented a 1 BR loft condominium because it offered more space for the money than the Summit Hotel, where we stayed in 2010. We slept 6 comfortably. The bedroom had a king and private full bath; the loft a queen (and its own 3/4 bath - a tub rather than a shower); and the sofa sleeper slept two. The... More
