This looks like an older place, but it has been excellently maintained. The carpeting, furniture, bedspreads, linens, etc. look new. The rooms are large and well supplied. We had a suite, and it was HUGE. We didn't use it, but there was a small kitchenette supplied with dishes, pots and pans, small appliances, etc. Our room didn't have a shower,... more

simply an okay place at an okay price. Be sure to empty your car. This place is downtown just across from the hospital. I left a toiletries bag in the back seat and got the car window smashed. more

Arrived after midnight which was no problem, after initial trouble with keycards. Spacious rooms with brilliant magnifying mirrors - take your tweezers, girls! All-day coffee was great and although breakfast ended at 10, as long as we got down in time, could stay until we finished, which was good, being slow eaters. Liked the rock collections and the quaint items... more

The Cherry Tree Inn is an affordable AAA rated hotel in Billings, MT. The rooms were large and clean, we were 5 minutes away from a shopping mall area with lots of places to eat. Right up the street were some cute little boutique stores as well as coffee houses and bars. If you were to get sick (God forbid)... more

This hotel was our "best buy" on a 9-day, 3 State trip. Looking for an overnight stay, we walked away from other hotels in the area because of run-down rooms or unsafe area, THEN were lucky to stop in to check out the two-story Cherry Tree Inn. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the amenities: free coffee and... more

Old purple carpet, furnishings beat to heck, no opening windows, lobby looks like H-E-double toothpick. The smell,.....oh the smell. The breakfast was wonderful if you like day old donuts. Nothing else to eat. Did I mention the hotel smells bad? Bring the Febreeze!!!! "Hotel" is right off of 27th and walking distance to Billings Clinic. This property has soooo much... more

We stayed one night. It was a very pleasant experience. From the freeway, you will need to travel 12 - 15 blocks to find it, but it is in a quiet location, and is close to a number of restaurants. The room was very nice. And the breakfast and coffee were more than adequate. There is a computer if you... more

We stayed here in July when most of the people in town to attend a local dog show were staying at the Cherry Tree Inn with their dogs. A dog left alone in the room next to us whined for three hours while its owner left it alone. Calling the front desk produced no relief. Dogs were barking in the... more

Spent one night here before getting an early morning plane home. Great value for the price. Two queen beds, table with 2 chairs, a recliner and large screen tv. Convenient to downtown restaurants, clean and very helpful staff. I was concerned because the cost was so reasonable but the place was very good. more
