We choose this motel because of the reviews, but even at $50 I was totally disgusted. There is mold in the shower, the microwave didn't work. We called to make a phone reservation the week before and the voice on the phone was friendly, accomadating, and clarified our requests in detail. This was a very inexpensive motel and really good value for money. The room was extra large and we were given vouchers for free drinks at a very good recomended restaurant. We were also given useful directions for our onward trip. more

We stayed for one night in the Sundowner in September 2007. Room was comfortable and pretty clean. Furniture was a little shabby but, at these prices, you really can't complain. . more
