We reserved this east glacier motel for our 10 day trip to Glacier National Park. We called them and asked them to reserve a cabin and they did. We asked them can we get a confirmation? They said no, the confirmation number is all you need. They refused to give me or send me a confirmation email saying "We don't... more

Traveled to Glacier National Park Aug 15 through 24 and decided to make East Glacier Cabins our base camp. First of all, the cabins are on the quiet side of East Glacier set among the beautiful pines. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance, (the coffee and fresh baked muffins at Luna's are especially good). There is... more

We stayed one night in a cabin on our way through the park. The location is great, across the street from The Whistle Stop's huckleberry french toast and within walking distance to the Glacier Park Lodge. The cabin is very small with no frills, although there was a small TV. The decor is extremely dated and furnishings very worn, but... more

The rooms are dirty& shabby. It is noisy because the walls are as thick as cigarette papers. We enjoyed a band of bikers just in front of our room part of the night and early in the morning. It is perfect if you like 50's movies atmosphere, something like "I run away and I find a place where nobody will... more

We stayed in 2 double with kitchenette for one night. The room was pretty nice with cooking utensils.I wish they could have mats in restroom and yes the water in the motel in not drinkable as they have some inspection still due but they do give couple of water bottles. If you are on economical budget ,this is nice play to stay.But... more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a trip to Glacier National Park. Given the price, we knew we would be getting basic accommodations, but were pleasantly surprised by how cute the cabins were. They're pretty old and small, but they're neat and clean and the owners run them very well. It's a great base for the... more

The East Glacier Motel and Cabins is 32 miles south of St. Mary, the eastern entrance to the Going to the Sun Road through Glacier National Park, on a winding mountain road (allow plenty of time for this drive). Although I cannot comment on the cabins, the motel rooms are clean, modern, feature kitchenettes and are perfectly adequate for an... more

We stayed at the East Glacier cabins in August during the fires. These are perfect for 1 or 2 people & we were able to park our motorcycles right outside the door. The Thimbleberry resturant is closed, but a a litte ways down is the Whistle Stop, very good food. The family the runs the cabins are very personable & friendly.... more

My cousin's chose this place but based on past reviews I was pleased with their choice. I was in a hotel room and my cousins in a cabin. The hotel room was quite large. By far enough room for the roll-away bed they provided us for an extra guest. The room was clean. Only complaint would be the toilet not... more

The facilities and grounds of the East Glacier Motel and Cabins are older, but very well kept and an excellent value. There is a new motel style addition as well as the older cabins. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and are very conscious of making a good impression and providing a clean, comfortable place to stay while... more
