When you come to Glacier National Park, are you really planning to spend much time in a hotel room, especially one described as "rustic" by the operators themselves? Really? Staying at this stately old lodge is a pleasant trip back in time. It's rustic, well-worn and old; rooms have single pane windows, no TV or phone and can be noisy depending on the location. Wow. Where to start? This is the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered. And I've stayed at plenty of hotels including those at national parks (Yellowstone and Glacier Park).
