We stayed at the Gallatin Gateway Inn for two nights for a wedding. Called the week before the wedding and found the pool was broken but would be repaired that week. When we checked in the pool was going to fixed within the next two weeks. After spending 4 days in Yellowstone, my teenagers and I were counting on a... more

Although the building is old, we found it to be well maintained and clean. The friendly staff, most of which is the family that owns the hotel, are always around and seem to really care. Porter House restaurant is great, but only open for dinner. It is on 20 acres and well off the road. We had a 2 bedroom... more

We found the staff friendly and helpful. The free internet-connected PC in the lobby was very nice to print our boarding passes home and to reserve luggage space for the flight. If you don't eat at least one meal at The Porter House (on-premise restaurant) you're really missing out on some of the best fine dining we've had, although the... more

We went to the Gallatin Gateway Inn for a wedding for a dear friend. Since we were bringing a critical element for the reception we tried to coordinate with the staff for our requirements to make this event successful for our friend. The one person we first spoke with all but refused to help and this was cause for concern.... more

This hotel was great. The cottage rooms are newly renovated and spacious. Don't listen to the idiots ranting about the cottage rooms or the noisy doors. What the hell? Who complains about noisy doors anyway? The other facilities were good too. The hot tub was obviously new and it was nice to soak in a clean hot tub for a... more

This is a really pretty hotel, however, if you're sensitive to noises when you try to sleep, you better go elsewhere. Since it's an old hotel, the room doors don't close easily, so people make a racket trying to get them closed. Also, the window airconditioning unit sounded like a jet plane in my room. I chose this hotel because... more

Just stayed for three nights for a wedding. Great venue for a wedding. Food, service, etc was great. Other reviews for rooms reflect my impression of the hotel. It should be noted that the pool is open seasonally. Also, there is a local restaurant within a mile for lunch and diner called the Gourmet Gas Station which was excellent-served Mexican... more

What an awesome spot - the owners were there and very helpful. Everything was great had problem with the wireless for my laptop, but when I informed them it was taken care of. The restaurant's food was great. I am looking forward to going back. more
