Liked the location to Yellowstone, but that's about it. There were teeny little bugs in our bathroom, carpet was nasty. Cook had just quit, so breakfast was OK the first morning, but basic continental the second day. We had read promotion of their "great" ribs and decided to eat in the restaurant "Antler Pub & Grill" for dinner. I had... more

I have to concur with other reviewers that the hotel does have a bad odor. This was most pronounced in the hallways. It smells like old socks. Our toilet had definitely not been cleaned prior to our arrival. If you can get past these significant issues (I can't) than the location is good. The arrangement of the room for our... more

Stayed two nights here. We are seniors. The rate with a senior discount was $158.88 per night. There is no pool. There are 2 hot tubs, one of the two was not working. They serve a "hot" breakfast, well sort of, and one waitress in her teens was in charge. Needless to say she couldn't keep up. Guests were cleaning... more

Nasty. That's the best one word description I can give for this property. Nasty staff, nasty decor, nasty smell, nasty rooms. I stayed at the Gardiner Comfort Inn about two weeks ago and was shocked at the rudeness of the front desk staff and the inappropriate behavior of the cleaning staff. I had my room for two nights and my... more

Gardiner, MT, the northern gateway to Yellowstone park. It's a small town with a few chain motels and B&Bs. I made the mistake of thinking Comfort Inn would adhere to a decent level of standard comparable to their peers. Was I so very wrong! When I walked into the lobby, it reeked of smoke. I checked into my $158/nt small... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Yellowstone North after spending a long day in Yellowstone Park. We arrived late and got up early the next morning to go white water rafting on the Yellowstone River and do more sightseeing in the park. So, basically we slept and ate breakfast -- no time for relaxing in the hot tub or anything... more

I booked this on the fly after a spur of the moment trip to Yellowstone, it was a bit on the pricey side but for last minute and no planning ahead of time I was happy to not have to sleep in my truck. Location is right in town and only a few minutes drive from the North entrance to... more

The location is great -- just outside the North entrance to the park -- but that's about all it has going for it. The room was dark, gloomy, damp and smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We had thought of staying longer and making this our "home base" from which to explore the park,... more

From April 21 - 25, I was attending a week-long training in the conference room of the hotel. The training included about 16 employees of Yellowstone National Park and other National Park Service units in the area. During our lunch break one day, I wanted to heat up my food, so I went to the dining area, but I didn't... more

Due to this being peak season for yellowstone had trouble finding hotels and this was a last resort. The rooms were cool and the hotel was in an okay location. The "pools" they advertise are actually three whirlpools and one was not in working order. The other two looked filthy that we decided not to use. They did not have... more
