The hotel was clean, that's probably the best that I can say about it. The bedding was ok, but the towels were very thin and worn. Also it was noisy, apparently having little sound insulation. After driving for 15 hours this was just what we needed. The beds were super comfy, and everything was clean. Can't ask for more. more
Motel was very clean and the rooms are very well kept. Breakfast had a good varity. The kids loved the pool. The staff in the casino,however, seemed to be very snippy to some of what appeared to be local customers and at one point seemed irritated at me when I orered another glass of wine. more
Stayed here overnight. The hotel did give us a smoking room even though we don't smoke. It did not smell smoky at all so we did not ask for a change. We stayed in a corner room in the annex across the street from the main motel. At first we weren't crazy about staying apart from the building that houses the pool and other facilities, but we were taken aback when we saw the size of the room. The Best Western Great Northern is a really nice hotel in a very remote part of the country. It is fairly new and is well kept. There are surprisingly good restaurants within walking distance. more
The Best Western is the best choice available for this small town. Our room was very spacious and had 2 sinks. The pool and hot tub were also nice. Having stayed in a lot of Best Western establishments this one really stands out. Very clean rooms (the whole hotel smelled nice), wonderful free breakfast buffet with all the trimmings.
