My husband and I stayed at this HOJO for two nights. The lobby looked fine, and the price was more reasonable than the others in that immediate area. But, it was not all that great. The pool was working, but it did not appear all that clean. The sheet did not fit the bed and it kept coming off in the night. The free breakfast was poor. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was cold. There was no juice of any kind to be seen. The bananas were totally green. The toaster, did not toast to any color and it had no knobs (only the metal bar) on it to push it down with. The salt shaker was filthy on the outside and the chair I was in was also sticky/dirty. There was paint on the doors to the room, that no one wiped off when they were painting and the lighting was extremely poor. One light did not work at all. The air conditioner did work and I used the internet in the lobby. I also used the laundry facilities and they worked okay as well. It was just somewhat disappointing. I... more
