Stayed here last night. I had a big national nursing board exam at 7am and hoped to get a good night's sleep. Well, when they renovated the hotel, they spent all the money in frills (rooms are very nice) and forgot to insulate the walls! I love the mountain biking in Helena and try to stay downtown and close to the south hills. Nothing like biking from your hotel to the singletrack then riding down to the pub for a pint. The Park Plaza was newly renovated, there was still a little work to be done. I liked the atmosphere of the lobby. I also enjoyed the location of the hotel itself, next to a walking mall in the downtown area. It was nice to walk to nice little shops and even to a bar. My room was comfortable and clean.... more

Stayed here February 1, 2004 on business. Room was big, clean, quiet, with nice view of town. Comfortable and well-equipped. Restaurant food and service, excellent and very reasonably priced.
