We are repeat guests at Goldsmith's Bed and Breakfast because it's a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The views are spectacular. The location is perfect. We love being able to sit on the deck and watch the river. Having easy access to the University of Montana campus via the walking bridge is great. The hostess... more

While the empty restaurant next door was a visual downer when we first drove in, we were very pleased with the rooms, the breakfast, the cheerfulness of the manager, and the ability to stroll over to the campus, see the river, etc. etc. The history of the place was an additional bonus! more

We went to Missoula for our daughter's wedding. Staying at Goldsmith's just topped off the whole experience. View was perfect, service was excellecnt, breakfast was delicious every day that we stayed and the room gave you a warm comfortable feeling. They were even thoughtful enough to give us beautiful weather the whole week. What more could you ask for? more

The room was great. We had a balcony overlooking the Clark Fork River. The staff was so helpful. The chef made a great breakfast and was fun to chat with. We tried to get him to come home to Phoenix with us. The innkeeper was delightful. She had the winning combination of brains, beauty and charm. She shared many local... more

I stayed at the Goldsmith Inn for four nights while in Missoula for a wedding. It was my first trip to Montana and I had a great time. The property is located right on a beautiful river right across a pedestrian bridge from the University of Montana. It is also a 30 minute nature walk from town (the innkeeper said... more
