The Family Inn is a great little budget hotel (please note, the one other review of this hotel at the time of this writing is NOT the one in Missoula). We stayed there for three weeks while waiting to move into our house. They had a great weekly rate (a little over $300 a week) including very basic daily housekeeping, once weekly sheet changes, a small but functioning kitchen with pans, utensils, dishes, dish soap, a sponge, etc. provided, free highspeed internet, free cable, a sitting area and a small dining table, and free breakfast and cookies everyday.

It is right on the Clark Fork River. Get a room in the back building facing the river. You can sit on your little balcony/ proch and watch the river go by, very relaxing spot. They also have a really cute little pool, also right overlooking the river) with floaty toys provided. The hotel is just over a footbridge from the University of Montana and a really nice river trail.

This is most deffinitly a budget... more
