A good, standard, upper-middle class motel, nicely situated on the river. All the expected amenities. Starting to show its age in places, but generally well maintained or recently refurbished. The rates seemed a bit high. Good restaurant. more

This is a pretty good stay. All the same good stuff I got up graded to a suite for only $20, would stay here again. If you want a good room for just a getaway pay the extra $$ for the river view rooms. Many fast food places right across the road. The Hotel eatery is a fine place to... more

We stayed 9 nights at the Doubletree in Missoula and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We had a river view which allowed us to enjoy the Clark-Fork River and the "M" on the mountain behind the University of Montana. The accomadations were very good; clean room and the best towels I've had in a hotel in a long time. The staff... more

We use to enjoy staying here, primarily because the location is perfect when visiting our college kids. However, lately we have noticed a lot of wear and tear. They really need to update and spruce up. Even though we love the location, I think next time we will be staying somewhere else. more

We chose this hotel for its location--great to be near University of Montana or historic downtown. We arrived on Christmas Eve --actually early Christmas day-- the staff was friendly and accommodating. The airport transportation service was invaluable and our driver was helpful with travel tips. We only ate in the hotel restaurant for brunch so cannot say what the dinner... more

We were looking for a short vacation from the hectic schedule of "real" life, and we found it. The hotel is large, but really doesn't seem to be. We were there in the very off season, and so there were almost no other guests. The hotel is older, and the one elevator we could find was showing its age. We... more

We spent one night in Missoula and thought it would be fun to stay on the river. Booked the Doubletree based on TripAdvisor review status. The hotel is tired, dated and in need of an upgrade. The next time we are in Missoula we will stay at another hotel. The toilet in our bathroom was running. We called housekeeping and... more

first impression was a little bit of a tired convention hotel. However thing s improved at check in. Front desk was very courteous and helpful. Common areas have been updated. Rooms have new beds/bedding and have been updated. It is still and older convention type hotel property, but the view, and updating make it nice. I would recommend the restaurant,... more

We have stayed at the Doubletree Missoula/Edgewater twice now. The service is excellent. The restaurant has a broad wine list. The rooms are cleaned by people who hate cleaning. The first time we stayed at the Doubletree Missoula Edgewater, there was toothpaste splatter on the bathroom sinks and mirror and thick gray hair on the counter. In the corners of... more
