Our family spent three nights at the Red Meadow Chalet in mid-July and had an amazing experience. The three bedroom two bath cabin was described by the owner as rustic but I found it to be a luxurious backwoods cabin. The view of Glacier National Park directly across the North Fork River is spectacular. The accommodations are decorated in chic... More

Best weekend floating, fishing, mushrooming (yes there are boletes and morels here), huckleberry picking, and eating (Mercantile pastries are to die for!). We were enchanted by the beauty of the area and the rustic cabin feel. The cabin was CLEAN, comfortable and nothing like what the previous reviewers in 07 wrote(wtf??).. Also the owners went out of their way to... More

This was our second trip to the cabin and the Glacier NP area. Needless to say, we are headed back again this year! If you are looking to live like a local and not a tourist, this is the experience for you. Off the beaten path from the craziness of the park, this location has so much to offer. The... More

Besides being able to take in some of the most breathtaking scenes that Montana’s Big Sky country has to offer, right from the property, there were also innumerable entry points for launching rafting, kayaking, fishing, and hiking adventures, all within a 15 mile radius of the cabin (some of the best were within a stones throw). In addition to the... More

This was our first trip to Montana and we never wanted to leave. The cabin was so welcoming it was like coming home and relaxing for a week. We used the location as our only stop and did not venture into Glacier which is a bit of a drive but with the river running at the bottom of the bluff... More

The cabin was amazing and the views were incredible! We loved it and couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Great fishing, camping, river rafting and hiking in the area. Right across the river from Glacier National Park, so access to the Park was convinent. Thank you for such a great experience!

The first thing to go wrong was the fact that when we arrived we discovered that one of the showers was out of order- the owner had left a note in the shower saying "Please try not to use this shower as it is cracked and leaks." What?! We'd been specifically told that we were renting a 3 bedroom, 2... More

I think the first thing that bothered me about this place was the indefinite map on their website. Don't most people know how to use Google Maps by now? We were able to pinpoint the actual location after some much needed research. Plug 48.81656, -114.33459 into Google Maps and you're there. Their website says the chalet is "just five miles... More

I stayed in this cabin with a group of 5 people. First off, the owner botched our reservations. We'd reserved from Friday-Friday (even wrote the dates in the memo field of the checks, and saved a copy of the letter we sent confirming the dates), and she booked us for Saturday-Saturday. This meant that the week before we were supposed... More
