We stayed at this hotel from Oct. 11-18. We booked it through our R.C.I. week as this is one of the very few R.C.I. units that are pet friendly. We made the 3 day drive from Atlanta with our 2 small dogs in tow and having stayed in R.C.I. units in the past 20 years we were somewhat expecting the... more

We stayed in a studio with full kitchen. These apartments are individually owned, so it's the luck of the draw. Ours was excellently furnished with moose and bear motifs on the quilt and cushions, and an extremely well-furnished kitchen. Air-conditioning functioned fine. There was a large dining table and four chairs, chest of drawers, closet and desk as well as... more

After driving over the Beartooth Highway we spent the night at Chateau Rouge in Red Lodge. The manager was very nice. We has a studio condo on the second floor. The stairway leading up to the second floor was very dark, day and night, and the porchway leading to the rooms was dingy, with dirty carpet and dried bird droppings... more

Each room/apartment is different. We had 2 rooms for 2 families traveling together. Comfortable beds, lots of space, full kitchens, pool and hot tub in good shape. It was exactly what we wanted. more

We stayed for a week at the Chateau Rouge as part of our family reunion. I was able to see several units and recommend requesting #206. All the units have the basics and the kitchens are well equiped. However, because they are individually owned, the furnishings vary widely. #202 is decorated in industrial standard furniture, #208 is more homey. #206... more

We stayed at the Chateau Rouge for 1 night. We stayed in a one-room studio. All units are individually owned...so each is different. Some have an upstairs/downstairs setup. Ours had a full kitchen, dishes, extremely comfortable bed, TV...but no air conditioner. The outside of the whole place is dark so I really didn't know what to expect...but everything was clean... more

The people who operate this condo-for-rent facility are very nice. The rooms are just so-so. Nothing to write home about, but it was okay. The pictures are better than the rooms. We expected a little more for the money. more

Despite hundreds of motorcycles around town (on their way to Sturgis, we think), this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Room 209 did have air conditioning; we needed it only a couple of times during our five-day stay. It cools off at night, even in August. This two-bedroom unit has three bathrooms. The common area downstairs had... more

Stayed in a 2-bedroom unit. There was no air conditioning and the outdoor temperature was in the 90's. Fortunately, it tends to cool off at night. The unit was clean and comfortable. Some of the lights did not function, however. Also, several of the vertical blinds in the master bedroom were missing, providing little privacy for sleepers from guests using... more

This is a fantastic place to stay, not just the hotel, but the town as well. If you are traveling the "Beartooth Highway" Red Lodge is located at the northern end. The town is small but nice and has some historical points as well, one of the buildings in town used to be a bank that was robbed by the... more
