We stayed in the newer section of the hotel - they were huge rooms! We had the 2 queen size beds. The furniture is made of the reclaimed wood from the original building that burned. Stayed in a very nice 3-queen suite in the Lodge for four nights with 3 young boys. Two queens in main room with additional queen bed and TV in a small room to the back of suite. Stayed at Three Bear Lodge and Restaurant for two nights while visiting Yellowstone. We stayed in the main lodge and the room was very nice. Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Yellowstone Park. The hotel is perfectly in downtown West Yellowstone right in the midst of everything. The motel section is somewhat dated but clean. The rooms were dark though as only had 3 lights with 60 watt bulbs. Changing them to 100 watt bulbs would have made a huge difference. Staff were polite but... more

The service was a B+. All contacts were friendly and helpful. We flew in to Idaho Falls late in the afternoon and made the drive up here, arriving at 11:30 PM. The office closses at 11PM. The hotel was very nice. We were given coupons for the attached restaurant. The only negative was that all staff leave & lobby is locked up at 11/11:30 at night. They were under construction when we stayed there, not a big deal. The front of the Lodge is nice, but the room in the back looked a little run down. Rooms were adequate and quiet. There is a very nice restaurant at the hotel which is very good, especially at breakfast. $2 breakfast coupons were nice, but that essentially just covered a cup of coffee. Would definitely go there on a return visit to the area. more
