Read mixed reviews on trip advisor but decided it looked ok and it ticked our backpacking minimum criteria; location, cost, internet and breakfast. We stayed in a room with 2xdouble beds, fridge, microwave and sofa. The sofa was a bonus as it felt like we could relax in the room. There was also a pool with a hot tub which... more

I've stayed here three or four times and the last time was the last straw. We were sent up to a room, opened the door and it was occupied! We hauled our luggage back downstairs to talk to the front desk and they sent us to another room - this time it was dirty. I don't mean it was not... more

We were traveling wtih our grandchildren. The Gray Wolf was close to the entrance into Yellowstone and right across the street from the Bear and Wolf Center. Traveling with the little ones it was nice to have a pool for them to play in after being in the car all day. The breakfast in the morning helped to keep our... more

We booked a one room bedroom suite because we were staying for five days (four nights). The room was somewhat clean but little nooks and crannies were not kept up. We found the kitchen to be useful and didn't expect China-wear or anything. It was sufficient. The beds were comfortable but the pull out hide-a-bed was kind of bad. Not... more

We read the reviews before booking our stay. There were mixed opinions and our options were limited due to a last minute trip. We decided to try it out. We spent $200 a night on a 1 bedroom suite. The room was disgusting. When we first entered the rooms, the children asked why the floor hadn't been vacuumed. (Pretty bad... more

When considering the price differences between the Gray Wolf and some of the other name-brand hotels in West Yellowstone we didn't have very high expectations for the Gray Wolf -- we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was good, and most importantly it's only a couple of blocks away from all the shops of West Yellowstone and... more

I stayed in a suite with 4 children and my wife. The room was spacious, with a full kitchen and plenty of room for the kids. The continental breakfast was great for the kids. The location was convenient for access to Yellowstone park. The pool was a little small for the kids, but they still enjoyed it. My only complaint... more

A great deal for the money. Large, very clean room; great breakfast. We stayed there just before the tourist season officially began, so that may have been the reason for a good deal. We actually paid $10 LESS for this room than we did for a Super 8 room the night before. more

We stayed at the Gray Wolf during our visit to the national park. The check in and maintenance staff were courteous and helpful. The price was steep, but most hotels in this town are pricey. The continental breakfast was very good. It was interesting to talk to the people from different countries and hear their comments on the hotel and... more

We booked a 1 bdrm suite with full kitchen at the Grey Wolf Inn in early Sept. The price was too high, but with 3 children, regular hotel rooms don't work for us. We like to cook our own dinners to save money and time. The room was big enough. The sofa bed was hideous. I had to get 4... more
