In April of this year our Church hosted a retreat for the Ladies of the Montana Missionary Baptist Churches at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, Montana. Some have worked there for many years, A friendly shuttle driver met us at the airport; the shuttle took us to town for shopping; also to church on Sunday. Grouse Mountain Lodge was very beautiful. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. We enjoyed taking walks around Grouse Mountain. It was a short distance to the town and shopping. Our stay was quite enjoyable and would stay at Grouse Mountain Lodge again. more

Overpriced like most everything else in Whitefish. For half the price you can get a better room in any other town in Montana. This is a luxery hotel in their minds but not in reality. Grouse Mountain Lodge is close to activies, the downtown of Whitefish and close enough to Glacier National Park to make it a great place to staff. The staff was wonderful and helped to arrange some of our activities. We only ate breakfast here, but everything we had was to notch. Great coffee, eggs, meats and fresh fruit. more
