This room, located in Big Mountain (AKA Whitefish) Village, was at the base of chair 3, so if you purchased a multi-day lift ticket, it was ski-in, ski-out. If you can get a good deal here, take it. It's convenient to ski back to at the end of the day. It's a short walk to get to main chair lift loading areas, so not truly ski out, but still super convenient unless you're totally lazy. There is no airconditioning nor fan in the room and it was over 85 degrees in the room. There is limited to no food services and it is 6 or 7 miles out of town. Check-out time is 10 am even though the place has very few summer guests. It is also expensive for the size of room

The Kintla is one of two true ski-in/ski-out properties at the base of Big Mountain. It's small, quiet, and well appointed.
