We enjoyed our 5 day stay at the North Forty Resort. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it. If you are looking for clean, convenient, friendly, private, a gathering place - this place is perfect. The location was great - on the road to GNP and 10 minutes to downtown Whitefish. We had a cabin in the... more

We just returned from staying an entire week in the North Forty. We were expecting a good experience, based on the high ratings here at Trip Advisor, but it was even better than expected. The cabin was immaculate and roomy and stayed cool despite the 100 degree days we encountered. The construction and furnishings make you feel like you're deep... more

We stayed in two different cabins and were very disappointed- we had expected a top notch resort but this is Motel 6 in a cabin. No air conditioning and close to highway so if your windows are open you will hear highway noise. We stayed in two different cabins and both about the same. We would have preferred having wood... more

I made a reservation six months in advance of our stay and requested a pet-free cabin because of allergies. The person I spoke with helped me find a block of four days with a pet-free cabin and we adjusted our arrival date accordingly. When we arrived we were placed in a pet-friendly cabin and were told no pet-free cabins were... more

There are 3 in our family and we were meeting my sister in Whitefish. We especially looked for a place with separate bedrooms. The 3 of us could sleep in one room and my sister in the living room on a hide-a-bed. This cabin was perfect for us. It was clean, the grounds were very neat, it had a fairly... more

We just returned from a trip to the area and stayed two nights at this resort. There were two couples and the place was very comfy, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and it was close to the west entrance to Glacier and the lovely town of Whitefish. I would stay here again if we were in the... more

My wife and I spent three nights in an Aspen suite while visiting the National Park and surrounding area. The place was spotless and the kitchen was well equiped. It's a great location with quick access to both the park, Hungry Horse Dam, and Whitefish. We particularly enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the covered front porch of the cabin. The... more

We took our kids ages 16,11,6 to Glacier national in 7/05. We stayed at the North Forty for three nights and then drove down to Bigfork on our drive home. The Aspen Suite we stayed in was large enough for our family of five. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this resort. more

Came in early December - the lowest of the low season - and we pretty much had the place to ourselves - quiet and beautiful. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and the cabin was lovely - well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds, warm and very clean. Loved the hot tubs. more

North Forty Resort – Whitefish, MT “Neat place to stay” We stayed here while visiting GNP. It is about a 15 minute drive to the park’s West Glacier entrance. Kalispell & Columbia Falls are slightly closer. We really enjoyed our stay at the North Forty Resort. It was about $250 for a two room Aspen cabin. In one room when... more
