Front desk staff friendly. Room was excellent: two large beds plus sofa sleeper. Sofa sleeper already had sheets on it - nice touch given how late we arrived. This hotel was a big surprise! The service was outstanding and the rooms were much more luxurious and contained amenities that you would not expect in a Holiday Inn Express. This is a newer motel which is right off the Interstate. One reviewer wrote that they had cookies at the front desk. We didn't find cookies but the room was clean and neat, attractively furnished. Stayed here the night after staying at HI Express in Lexington. This hotel is nicer, so if you are wanting to choose, choose this one, its less than 40 minutes east of Lexington. This is a typical HIExpress - except the parking lot. Holy Cow! There was a full 5 inches of frozen slush throughout, and the precipitation was not recent. This hotel appears very new. It is clean and the breakfast is outstanding. The bedding was the latest Holiday Inn release. This is a great place for an over night traveling stay. Hotel staff friendly. Plenty of restaurants nearby. more
