This could have been a better than average experience if it weren't for the mysterious case of the missing front desk clerks! It seems they were constantly running around doing other things, or just completely absent altogether. The night clerk was new and couldn't answer any questions such as how far we were from other cities in the state, and we never did get a receipt for our stay after waiting fifteen minutes at check-out for someone to help us. A member of housekeeping did see us and shouted back to the office "People! Up front!" but no one ever came. It was amazing. At least it was pet friendly (with a requested non-smoking room) and there were places to walk our dog. The indoor pool and spa was okay, and we were thankful for the laundry facility. Breakfast was no big deal, and you cannot order movies at this hotel. Our room was a good size, but set up strangely with a sink/mirror in an inconvenient location so there is no privacy at the sink.
