This was the second time that my partner and I stayed at this amazing bed and breakfast. We have stayed at many b&b's and this is one of the very best. The suites are GORGEOUS, spacious, clean, and affordable. If you can get the weekday deal on the Frank Little Suite, DO IT ($85 bucks is a steal for this)!... more

I have stayed at many B & B's over the years but this was the BEST! Our group used three of the rooms and everyone loved their stay. All of the rooms are very, very spacious and you really feel like you have your own apartment. Larry and Ruth have left absolutely nothing out when it comes to service, accomodations,... more

We usually try B & B's when traveling from Chicago to Colorado, and Lincoln is a perfect midpoint. The innkeepers are very friendly and will accomodate your every request if possible. The inn is beautiful as soon as you drive up. Every room that I was able to view is beautiful from the least to the most expensive. This is... more

This would have to rank in the top 3 B&Bs we've ever stayed, and we've stayed at a lot. The house itself is beautiful, and fascinating to explore and to learn the history. Our suite was gorgeous and extremely spacious and comfortable. But the hosts - Ruth and Larry, are something else. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They provide... more

The Atwood Bed and Breakfast is the best place we ever stay at. There home is beautiful. The Atwood suite was lovely, breakfast was great eating on fine china and drinking from crystal glasses. They have lots of snack-cakes, popcorn, chips, candy, and juice to enjoy 24/7. If you forgot to pack anything, they have tons of amenities for you... more

Hands down one of the best B&Bs we have ever frequented (and we've seen our fair share!). We have stayed here twice, once for our honeymoon in 2006 and again for our anniversary in 2008. We haven't been disappointed either time. It's just as beautiful, grand and thoughtfully appointed as we remembered it. The Atwood House is a grand old... more

My wife and I received a gift certificate as a wedding shower gift. This was our first stay ever at a B&B. All I can really say is WOW! First Larry and Ruth are very Very gracious hosts! Anything that you need is right there. They actually take you to your room when you get there, amazing! We really had... more

We stayed at Atwood only 1 night in September 2007. This is a very traditional B&B with tons of actiques everywhere. This includes all furniture, fixtures, etc. While these can be charming, sometimes too much can be a turn-off. The postives are the host was very accommodating and kind, the breakfast was wonderful and filling, and snacks abound in the... more

We stayed in the lovely carriage house next to the main building. We were amazed at both the amount of space and the amenities of the carriage house. A very large whirlpool tub, a full kitchen, king bed. The room was great. Walking distance to downtown Lincoln. We had to go quickly before a restaurant we wanted to try closed,... more

Lincoln, Nebraska probably isn't one of the top 10 places to go for a lot of people, but surprisingly, it is quite nice. There are a few things to do - visit the zoo, tour the state capital, walk the camput of UN, go to the aerospace museum. My husband and I did all of this and had a great... more
