July 2 I dedided to stay at 1st Inn in North Platte, Ne. I had stayed at a 1st Inn Gold in Kearney before and enjoyed my stay. This place in North Platte was so dirty. The room I checked in the sheets had not been changed on one of the beds. The sink had soap remains on it and a ring in it. The bathtub had a black ring that had just been wiped over. The chairs were stained. The door between rooms had been kicked in and the lock was destroyed and had been fixed with piece of wire to hold the door shut, so you could not keep the people in the adjoining room out of yours. I went to the desk and said the room was dirty. Long story short we did not stay.
