Due to a long stretch of driving and fatigue, we stopped at this hotel just to sleep for 8 hours. We checked in, looked around and demanded our money back. The sheets were not made from the previous person staying there; the beds were old, gross, rickety and likely had bugs. The plaster on the walls was falling off and... more

The Howard Johnson hotel in North Platte, Nebraska is hands-down the worst hotel my husband and I have stayed in. While the room was cheap, it was immediately obvious why. The sheets had not been washed from the previous stay. They were covered in stains, hair, and were rumbled at the top (clearly had not been washed and remade). Additionally,... more

We have stayed here before. My husband likes the cheap rate. This was the last time, though. The room smelled like something was rotten in the walls. They had put a deoderizing "stik-up" on the fan of the heater/air conditioner. It didn't work. The toilet was stained or dirty. There was body hair in the tub (not ours). There were... more

My family spent the night at this howard johnson hotel in March. Four weeks later, I was diagnosed by my doctor as having scabies! It takes three to four weeks for a person who has never been exposed to scabies to show the bite marks and begin to itch. I contracted this horrible mite at this Howard Johnson hotel and... more

This is a modern, up to date two story hotel close to restaurants, Wal-Mart, shopping and it was just a few blocks off I-80. We stayed two nights in room 130 and found it to be adequate for our needs, a clean and comfortable room with good beds. There were three of us and we were there for a family... more

I stayed for 1 night at the HoJo Inn in North Platte, and I'm not sure which hotel the previous reviewers stayed in, but my 12 hours there were about flawless. I had been driving all day, and was tired, and had seen a billboard advertising a $49 rate for the hotel, and upon arriving, I saw the electronic board... more

After quickly driving through North Platte to see what there was to choose from at 11PM on a weeknight, we booked the Howard Johnson online because the rate was decent and they accepted pets. I never love any of the hotels I have to stay in when I am traveling with my dog, but this was absolutely the worst hotel... more

If you want a night of no sleep, make sure to book room 201 at this hotel. The heater makes a loud clicking noises the whole night. Fed up and exhausted, we turned the heater off and managed to get a few hours of sleep, only to wake up frozen to the core. When we notified the hotel staff of... more

This is located right off the main highway through town when you first come in from I-80...the price, even with our dog, was very good. Upon entering the room we had to kill 2 hornets. The room was decent enough but wasnt great either....it was very noisy in the evening, even with our TV on....There isnt a whole lot to... more
