There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk. The room was filthy! Hair on the toilet and in the tub, carpet was soiled and gross, when I sat at the writing table the leg fell off. The worst stay of our two-week vacation across 7 states. The room had a slight smell of vomit, the pool was "down," the breakfast room cramped and poorly supplied. Where do I start? A laminated paper in our room tells us that the goal of the hotel is to provide a clean and comfortable room where everything is in working order. It goes on to say that they provide the cleanest room and best value. Apparently, no one told the owners. The smell when we came in was horrible.... more
