We stayed at the Super 8 in Valentine on our way home from a trip in South Dakota. I had pulled over a couple hours before and booked our room online. When I arrived, I had inadvertantly booked a room with the wrong rate...AAA instead of standard rate. The friendly woman behind the counter asked to see my AAA card... more
Enjoyed our stay. Good wireless internet access and average breakfast. Overall we had a good stay. The price was right, the rooms were clean. more
We rolled into Valentine, NE around 6 pm and originally planned on camping. We decided to go for a hotel instead and figured the Holiday Inn Express was a bit pricey. So we decided to stay at the Super 8. The hotel was decent. Not great, not terrible -- it was just there. The room was decent though it smelled... more
Perfect small town charm. The sign on the front door "No cleaning of fish in rooms". We had a very uneventful stay. The staff was great. The indoor pool was a big hit with the kids however and the place was very clean. more
