My husband and I went to Carson City - Virginia City for our 19th Anniversary (just like we did last year). I found this motel on the Carson City Website. I booked the room for 2 nights, and was so pleased with the $100.00 price tag including tax! When we got there, the motel was right on the main drag. It is run by the Carson Nugget, but it is 1/2 block away. The only negative thing I can say is the lobby was filled with cigarette smoke smell upon entry to the motel. The staff was REALLY friendly and happy. We made way to our room, which was a normal key, no fancy key sliders here. Upon entry to our room, it was like we stepped back into the 60's or 70's....the decor. The room was EXTREMELY clean, neat, and well kept. The furniture STYLE was a different era, but it was NEW. I really enjoyed the view of Carson City from our window, which was as big as the wall. Each night we sat at the table, and just enjoyed the lights.
