We chose the Thunderbird Motel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The ladies at the desk were very nice and helpful. The motel was quiet, and very clean. It is in the old end of town, very quaint, and across the street is a small casino. Give Elko and this motel a try. more

If you're looking for a no frills but clean place to stay, the Thunderbird should be on your short-list. Although an older motel, the Thunderbird is clean and comfortable. It is across the street from the Commercial casino, which is downtown Elko. The Stockman casino is also in walking distance. more
