I raveled with my sister and a small dog. We decided to go across nevada on highway 50 instead of 80. Ely Nevada is about 4500 poulation about an hour from Utah. I found The Bristlecone Motel by looking at reviews online. It is very clean and charming (regular beds in room not hotel beds) and quilts on the beds.... more

no complaints and we enjoyed the mexican restaurant next door - good salsa and good service. large portions - beware - but you could take them home a put them in the little fridge provided in your room. more

Room was large..we had 2 queen beds with ample room. Shower/tub a little small but otherwise a very pleasant stay and we would recommend the Big Apple Restaurant just down the street. on Hwy 50. Late breakfast hours for us..doesn't open until 7 am and we are usually on our way to the next town by then. more

Very convenient, right on Hwy 50, clean rooms, friendly staff. We had a room toward the back so it was pretty quiet. All worked fine, no problems. Bed was comfy. Had a fridge and microwave. Would stay here again on a trip thru Ely. Twin Wok Chinese restaurant is very good. more

We found the Bristlecone Motel to be a good basic motel. It was very clean. Our large, two queen room was farthest away from the main street so noise was minimal. The beds were comfortable. We would stay here again if we were traveling through Ely, NV. more

We stay here every time we pass through Ely. Its a great location - Service is great - the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Coffee in the room - Refrigerators - Prices are reasonable. Its an older motel and you can tell the owners really care about their place. more

My husband and I spent one night here and IMO it is the best place to stay in Ely, NV. The whole property is non smoking which is great and hard to find in Neveda. The Ramada right across the street is more expensive and does not offer the large rooms and cleanliness provided at the Bristlecone. more
