This hotel is the authentic late 1800's hotel with the saloon on the lower left and the eating area on the lower right. It is not handicap accessible. The hotel is definitely a unique experience! No telephones, no televisions........only modern day amenities were running water and air conditioning. Amenities are available a few blocks away at the Best Western. If you are a history buff, you will love the stay! I was traveling in a group of 7 women, all of whom where apprehensive about staying, but in the end enjoyed the relaxing visit. We all agreed it was the best night's sleep we had in a long time! If you are traveling Highway 50 (The Loneliest Road in the US), I urge you to spend the night at this hotel. It was definitely worth the trip! more
