“Beware of the new management”

This is a classic old resort, dating back to 1851. The natural hot springs at the site have always been the draw. The location, just down the road from the equally historic town of Genoa, and in a post-card pretty spot, is hard to beat. Wow, There are very few places that are so physically beautiful. peaceful and powerful. The hot tubs, the mountains, the stars, the sounds of the natural habitat (ie; geese, ducks etc. There is nothing that is more powerful than the feeling of connection with nature. WOW!

We went to the 4th Annual Genoa Cowboy Poetry Festival in Genoa last weekend. “$30 to soak. Rip off.”

Dropped in to enjoy the hot tubs and left. $30 each to use hot pools including kids. So $120 for a family which proved excessive. We did not stay. Our year is incomplete without a trip or two at Walley's Hot Springs! So many good things going on both at the resort and the area. “Nice little get away.”

We bought a groupon for the hots springs and dinner, then decided to make it into a little get away by staying the night. As always we enjoyed spending some time in the hot springs - very relaxing. Then had dinner - food was good - not quite as good as we had previously and service was a little lacking... More

“So relaxing & beautiful!”

I love David Walleys... we are regular guests & always look forward to returning. The hot tubs, hikes & super tasty food in the restaurant make for an amazing week or weekend visit. It is also a great place to stay for visiting tahoe (skiing or beach or biking...). Enjoy, you will love it!

Glad we did a timeshare exchange here - lovely property with great views of the Carson Valley. If you are skiing Heavenly it is a quick and easy drive up the hill to Boulder/Stagecoach lifts on the Nevada side (free parking there).
