Genoa is a very cute small town! It hosts the 'oldest bar in Nevada' which is within walking distance of the B&B. The rose room bed was comfortable and the stained glass window was lovely. We were served breakfast in our room. Only complaint is in tastes, the room was a little too 'rosey' for our tastes - with prints... more
We happened on this delightful B&B by accident when we were forced to abort our flight over the Sierras. It is a charming historic house with a wide and welcoming wrap around porch with wicker chairs and big old shady trees. There are only three rooms and ours was not huge but it was very comfortable with a small loveseat... more
We drove up to see the beautiful aspen trees in their fall colors and spent last Saturday at the charming Genoa House Inn. We stayed in the upstairs Blue Room with the adjoining bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. Greeted by complimentary carafe of wine and an enormous plate of cheese, crackers, grapes, chocolate dipped strawberries and wonderfully delicious (and warm!) chocolate chip cookies...
