Do Not go to this place...unless you like dirty, smokey, unfriendly staff and security!! The carpet is sooo torn up that you trip over it...and can fall. The security staff watch every move you make...and won't serve you a drink...unless you play 25 lines. The buffet is nothing but dried up chicken, meatloaf, and old vegetables. It is about $9.00... I am sorry to hear about your unhappy stay at the Railroad Pass. While we are an older property, we strive to make sure we maintain cleanliness and a positive attitude. It appears that we failed on your visit. I would appreciate it if you would please give us a call at 702-294-5000 and ask for either John Gronowski, our... More

Friendly, helpful staff, nice large rooms, very good price The main area leading to the restaurant could use a good shampooing and some Febreze, but we weren't there for long and had a good night's sleep, a good dinner and breakfast - both reasonably priced, and are now ready to go to our next destination. I always welcome free wi-fi... More

I wanted to give this place a glowing recommendation based on the fact that the staff here are so fantastic, so personal and friendly, and so down-to-earth that I wanted to make this my own personal spot to stay whenever I'm in town. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it to anyone unless they are not needing a room for the night.... More

We've stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions when visiting the area. The rooms are neat and clean and offer plenty of room. The service has always been just fine. Wifi is now available for free throughout the hotel, which is a great improvement. I'd suggest getting a room at the back of the hotel, looking out on... More

We stopped here for dinner at the buffet on the way from Phoenix to Las Vegas. Knowing how the prices have jumped in Vegas for there buffet dinner we thought we would chance the 8.95 buffet at Railroad Pass. We had bypassed it and got off at the next exit and went back and took a chance. What a great... More

Nothing special - but also easy on the budget. Casino is old - dimly lit. Table coverings are in poor condition. Very popular with the truckers (semis) as there is LOTS of parking for the rigs. Also good for RV's and 5th wheels. 20 minutes or so, northwest, to get into Vegas 10 minutes, east, to Hoover Dam

We stayed here because my parents have their rooms comped. The hotel is old and outdated. My parents said the carpeting is new since the last time they were there, but it's just not the kind of place like to stay. The cigarette smell from the casino floors permeates throughout the entire place. Please don't misunderstand, the rooms are clean...... More

WE visited twice and then decided to stay a few nights, we stayed in suite 501, nice and big, clean. The do allow dogs so be aware you may hear barking now and again. The food is good and reasonable priced. Staff is friendly and allow military discounts for rooms. They have one Crap table that opens at 3PM, and... More

We had a suite . The rooms was large and clean. Housekeepers were friendly .The TV is outdated. No microwave there was a mini refrig. This is a pet friendly hotel (we did not have our dog though). The marquee showed couple of cheap deals like 1.00 hot dog and 1.00 strawberry shortcake (did not have them so can't comment... More

I was a little apprehension when I made the reservation because this is an old hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at the room and the beds were very comfy. The casino was smoky, but the non-smoking room was fine. We ate at the cafe, and the food was excellent and inexpensive. I do love old hotels! I would recommend this... More
