As has been said many times, the Luxor could use some TLC, but that's in part why you pay less to stay there than at Bellagio or the Venetian. Our stay there was great all around. Was here for a conference at the Mandalay Bay convention center, and the luxor is very close by. You can walk to the mbcc in just a few minutes. We stayed at the Luxor for 5 nites the last week of January. Overall our stay was OK. The room was clean but dimly lit.The shower stall had a little mildew in the corners. stayed at this property 10 years ago when it was full of action. these days it is looking tired and lighting could be improved in the bedroom. overall found it good value for money. (free internet connection only in hotel rooms if you have your own laptop.) more
