Good location 30minutes from the Vegas Strip in Summerlin and close to golf courses and Red Rock Canyon. The rooms were roomy but a bit old. The in-room jacuzzi works well. There is an abundance of choices for those with a car. more

This property is well off the strip (20 minutes or so), but was an excellent alternative hotel experience in Vegas. My room was clean and spacious. The bath was large and equally clean. One significant complaint...if you have hair longer than 3 inches take your own hairdryer. I've never seen such micro-mini dryers. My long-ish hair kept getting sucked into... more

We got a room on the 6th floor (top floor) in the Spa Tower. If you are going to stay here, I would suggest the Spa Tower, unless you have kids, then the other tower would be for you. The Room: We walked in our room and it was fabulous! At night we had a great view of the city.... more

This hotel is billed as a nice resort in Vegas, but it's anything but. I was surprised to find that there is no option for wifi, at least in the palm tower. The rooms have ancient tube TVs, and the remote for my room did not function. There was also a stench of open sewer throughout the building the weekend... more

This was a mixed bag, to be sure. The rooms are certainly large and nicely appointed. The view of the mountains from our room was spectacular. Though we didn't use the pool, it's lovely and huge. Did use the hot tub which could've been hotter but was warm and bubbly and after a long day walking on the strip was... more

As a former resident of Las Vegas (Summerlin specifically), I was pretty familiar with the JW Marriott and was excited to stay there as a tourist. I'd never been in the rooms before and opted to stay in a Jr. Suite. The size of the suite was ample, but at $309.00/night I couldn't help but be extremely critical of a... more

We originally decided to stay here because of my husband's rewards miles which allowed us to stay for free. We figured we'd try it even though it was off the strip mainly because it was suppose to be right next to the tram. When we first arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff. Check-in was a little crowded and... more

My family and I stayed at this resort for a weekend on our way to Utah. It was a fabulous property that had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The room was spacious enough to fit a roll-away bed. The beds were Marriott quality--- heavenly comforters and goosedown feather pillow. The room was clean! The property itself was... more

We took a weekend trip to Las Vegas with our two young children under 7. The JW Marriott is exactly what we had hoped for. It was a huge property with gigantic rooms. It was only about 7 minutes off of the strip. Self Parking was right by the entrance to the Spa Tower which was very nice. One odd... more
