If you're looking for a great place to stay in Vegas near but not in a Casino resort this is the place. We enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. Loved having a living room and kitchen to just hang out with friends before venturing out to the Strip. Great value for the money. We would recommend this resort and would... more

This resort was very clean, lovely accommodations, the rooms were furnished with everything you needed. It is only half a block from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and the STRIP! It's walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff, a wonderful concierge that knew about all the discounts and where the best shows were at. I would definitely go and... more

Very nice one bedroom apartment room that was super comfortable and well equipped. Very quiet also even though the airport is almost next door - never head a noise with the windows/slider shut. Easy walk to the MGM, Mandalay. After staying on the strip in each of our previous stays to Vegas, we really liked the comfort, roominess and peacefulness... more

Excellent value hotel located off the strip. We stayed in a lovely one-bedroom suite with well-equiped small kitchen. Staff were always helpful. The continental breakfast buffet was nice. more

I have stayed at the most of the major hotels on the strip, but I really enjoyed my stay at the Desert Rose. Everyone makes you feel at home, and you don't have to go through a maze to get to your room at night. The rates are affordable and the layout is condo style so you have plenty of... more

Excellent place to stay one block off the strip in Las vegas. Well appointed, very clean rooms. Staff was very courteous and went out of their way to answer questions and offer assistance. I travel to Las Vegas 6 times a year for business and this place is a real find. No noisey slots, no crowds to bump through to... more

My second visit here in 2 years and I've upped my rating. Not perhaps the most luxurious accommodation in Las Vegas, but best value for money and totally adequate. I had requested an upper floor room in block 3 which was allocated and available on arrival at 15:00. As ever the room was spotless and clean. Unfortunately the room was... more

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time here, the resort is clean and the rooms were both spotless and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was o.k to start the day off with and the cocktail hour at night was a welcome addition. The security was also very good at the hotel we felt... more

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. I have to say this was the nicest experience we have had staying in a Shell Vacations property yet. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooms (suites) are a nice size, with a small but full kitchen, and quite comfortable. The bathrooms were nice with a large tub, but the showers left... more

What a beauty is all I can say about this place. If and when I go back to Vegas I would not hesitate staying again. It wan clean and comfortable, extremely affordable and only one block back from 'the strip'. It was great to be able to have some peace and quiet at the end of te day, and that's... more
