Big rooms, great food, bowling alley and a spa, plus a rodeo arena and even a movie theater! And as a smoker, I appreciated the accommodation. We were there with 8 friends for the National Finals Rodeo, and shuttle service to Mack center was free. Only major drawback: absolutely NO humidity! No hotel in Vegas should ever be so dry... more

This is a great alternative to an expensive strip hotel and this hotel is not that far off the strip. You need a rental car or a cab but it is only a few miles south of the strip...and it is right off the freeway exit..or just take Las Vegas Blvd south all the way and it is on the... more
Well I'd like to start off by thinking the staff for the early check in. I must say a complementary upgraded room would have been nice. However, their normal rooms are just fine. First of all, it always confuses me when people downgrade a property for something they could have easily researched. The South Point is frequently criticized for being so far from the Strip. I have stayed her multiple times and for $25 a night you can't go wrong. Pros: The rooms and bathrooms are large, nice and look brand new. The roomservice is fast and friendly but a little pricey for what you get but where isn't that the case. The restaurant food is good. Pools are awesome. Some of my local friends... more

Very simple...Great quiet hotel and casino.... Prices are reasonable, rooms are nice and the staff is great... Two changes required: 1) Free shuttle to the strip 2) Free Wi-Fi Those two things happen in the future, and I will book there again. more

Even though I can get comped rooms in many places along the strip, this place has become my stay of choice in Vegas. It is rather laid back with excellent restaurants at reasonable prices.
