Rooms were nice but the stench of smoke permeated the entire complex, even in the "non-smoking" rooms. Also $13 a day for internet access is ridiculous!!! Stayed 3 nights in October based on TA reviews. more

I was shacked up there by the airline due to the fact my flight was cancelled. It was excellent value for what it was (no Bellagio or Ceasars where I usually stay but good). We stayed five days at South Point in September and really enjoyed the stay. The room was nice, beds were comfortable and we had a flat screen TV. This is the second time staying at the Southpoint Hotel/Casino/Spa. I was a limo driver in Vegas for 10 years, and I would much rather stay off of the Strip because you really do get more for your money. This is a real 4-Star Hotel. This location was a good basic hotel and casino. It has some nice restaurants and basic amenities. It was convenient to the bus stop to go down to the strip. Rooms were nice and service was good. more

The South Point is a fairly new hotel that offers incredible deals. It is a self-contained casino hotel approximately 10 - 15 minutes by car from the Las Vegas strip. This hotel is a $28 cab ride to the strip but well worth it. Although I love the strip it's nice to be in a hotel that is quieter but still has all the amenities you would find on the strip. more
