The room was on the 27th floor, far above the noise of the Fremont Street experience - OR so I thought. Well, when the "experience" started, it was so noisy that I thought we had our windows open because the music came right into the room. It lasted most of the night and was so loud we couldn't get any... More

While I'm trying to write this, I keep having a hard time concentrating on not seeming like a paid for advertisement. I really like what the owner,Derek Steven, has done here. It's a work in progress, but enough of the basics are here, and its already becoming to me, my new go to hotel in Las Vegas. The Casino is... More

If your looking for 5 stars this if far from it. Having said that the rooms are cheap enough to make the enviroment worth it. My biggest dislike was the bathrooms, and the elevators went down for a few hours , luckily 1/4 was still working. I found the casino's vibe beyter than all others and i spent quite a... More

We stayed last december during the National Finals Rodeo, and were plesantly surprised with The D. The bed in our room was very comfortable, and the room was much nicer than 15 years ago when I stayed here. The casino was a bit loud, but didnt really bother us too much. For the money, we will definatly stay here again.

Overall not bad for the money. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. My gripes are: 1. The elevators are real slow to get to the rooms. always a long line to get up the tower. 2. Recently the room was renovated, but they forgot the AC/Heater. They kept the old 70's unit. It was loud and... More

I checked out the "D" when I was in Vegas in November 2012. It used to be the Fitzgerald. I booked thru expedia and ended up paying $31 per night thru the week ! You can't beat the price. The rooms are newly remodelled and were very comfortable. I stayed on the 21st floor and never waited very long for... More

Having never enjoyed "The Fremont Experience" I booked at The D because the online pictures were the nicest. The casino floor was very nice, great décor. the room too was very nice. New tv, bedding, mattress, carpet, window coverings and art work. All done very tasteful. The bathroom is still in desperate need of renovation. Low counter and sink and... More

Just completely remodeled in the last year. Rooms are very nice and incredible value. A few of us stayed in Premium Corner Kings, and at 44 bucks a night I defy you to get more for your buck in Vegas. Clean rooms with comfy beds, spectacular views, nicely decorated, flat screen TV's, and very good showers. If that wasn't enough,... More

We booked the D hotel for just one night looking forward to a quick get away, we checked the other reviews and really looked forward to our visit....We booked through Priceline and paid extra to have a high tower room. We went to check in and were told that the room was not ready yet since we were 10minutes early... More

Checked into the D about 4 pm last Sunday...Easy check-in and the clerk was wonderful...I needed a room close to the elevator because I had recently injured my back...no problem...I have stayed numerous times at the Old Fitzgeralds, so was good to see all the improvements...elevators were quick...hallway carpets were very clean...the room had a large sofa next to the...
