I had talked with the sales staff about holding an event at this hotel and we had gone over all the details and agreed to all terms. They mailed me a contract to sign and I return to them with in their deadline. The contract was correct and I signed it and spent money to send it over night and... more

Dear Just Parties: I invite you to contact my office directly so that we might identify to whichgroup you were affiliated. The document you refer to as a "contract" was in proposal form. The "contract" occurs when all terms are accepted by the Dir. of Sales or GM. We are in the business of selling our Suites byoffering the pool...

This is a great hotel for the price. Granted it is nice to stay on the strip but the weekend we went the cheapest room on the Strip was $250 vs. $100 for this hotel. The cab ride was only $7 to the Flamingo or MGM or you can run across the street to the Hard Rock. The rooms are... more

I stayed for 5 nights during Smokeout, a gay men's cigar event. The Alexis is a former condo complex consisting of numerous small "blocks" around a central courtyard with green spaces and several pools. We had a double suite, two beds and a huge living area, plus kitchenette. Very spacious and very clean. Despite being part of a large group... more

Dear YVR: We regret that we left a less than satisfactory impression of certain of our services during "smokeout's" most recent visit. We love "Smokeout" and I am happy to celebrate your return to the Alexis Park for your next event. Unfortunately, we cannot offer smoking accommodations to all the attendees and many in the predicament of being provided non...

We were attending an event at the hotel and on checking in we were advised "in no uncertain terms" that a smoking room was not available; although confirmed at the time of booking. As they say .... first impressions count! Other points to note: 1) The hotel is in need of some renovation and the quality of the rooms are... more

Dear cbrsporty: Thank you for noting the large size of our suites - the largest suites of any non-gaming hotel in LV. We agree that an upgrade/remodel would be good - your's truly is working on the project and I hope to have some wonderful news momentarily! Our staff were distressed to learn of your description of them as "rude...

Alexis Park is not the newest or fanciest hotel in LV, but it is comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and professional when we arrived late on a Saturday night. My travelling companions and I had separately reserved three rooms and wanted them to be in the same building as well as close to the conference meeting rooms. This... more

Thank you for your very kind words of encouragement for all our staff. We appreciate your leaving that "weeks worth" of coffee! You certainly had an opportunity to discover all that Las Vegas has to offer, including the Alexis Park. Thank you. General Manager

I was duped into staying at Alexis Park when I booked my travel through Summer Bay resorts. I stayed for $15.00, and basically got my monies worth. The room was sub par, and we had to walk 7 minutes to get there with our bags. The heat and A/C didn't work when we got to the room and by the... more

We checked in on Boxing Day 2008 with reservations for 6 nights. We only stayed the first night and moved on. The location is far from the Strip with no shuttle service back and forth like other resorts of the same price range. The hotel is in badly need of repair and maintenance: of 3 lights in our suite, only... more

When you weigh the pros and cons of this resort/hotel it is skewed more in favor of cons than pros. Here are some pros, 1.Rooms are sufficient for a family of 4 to stay with a kitchen and retractable sofa cum bed 2. Rooms are clean and spacious Here are the cons, 1. A mile from the strip and pricey... more

I stayed here recently for a conference, and while I can't complain about the conference rate ($80!), the hotel did leave something to be desired. Our room was clean enough (aside from crumbs on the couch cushions), but shabby, which is the same way I would describe the rest of the hotel. Not offensively dirty or ugly, but not great.... more

We were there for a conference at the hotel. The conference rate was reasonable, but while our room was large, it was barren and empty feeling. While there were two floors, the bedroom upstairs had no tables or drawers to put clothing in. There was one luggage rack (and not much room for another), so one of us had to... more
